Job Description

 

Design & User Experience Group in India is seeking exceptional candidates for the

position of Senior Scientist & Research Manager.


A successful candidate will be working closely with Business Verticals, Technology Platform Owners, and Labs team (US & India) to

drive the research agenda for the group.


Candidate will be responsible for all stages of Innovation 
process (defining Innovation projects, creating proof of concepts, evaluations and supporting pilots).

We're seeking an excellent design leader to manage and help young designers and researchers to

proactively contribute to the innovation cycle with the stakeholders.


The candidate will manage the deliverables according to the strategic implementation and understanding of the business goals. The

candidate will work with other leaders to implement the process to hire, onboard, train, and mentor

new team members in the Lab.


Responsibilities


? Partner with Business groups, Labs Team and Technology

Managers to create Consumer Centric Innovations.

? Ability to manage, empower and increase effectiveness of talented team of designers and

researchers, leading teams of 12+ members.

? Serve as an Innovation Project leader with an excellent understanding and proven experience

of technical aspects, design principles, and a strong research methodology

? Author high-quality research publications and patents.


Qualifications

? Hands-on Designer with strong track record of Innovation

? Demonstrated Experience leading successful technology transfer to businesses

? College graduate ? preferably a Ph.D. or a Masters from a premier Design School.

? Excellent verbal and written communication skills- A strong publication and patent record in

high-quality conferences in is required.

? Excellent people skills and proven track record of successful people management.
