Physical Layer Developer: Physical Layer Signal Processing for Advanced Base-Station Products
We are looking for highly motivated, and passionate, wireless physical layer experts for the design, implementation, and optimization of advanced signal processing algorithms for our next generation base-station products.
Develop highly optimized transceiver signal processing flows for the WCDMA/HSPA and/or LTE/LTE-Advanced/5G-NR wireless standards
Create compliance/conformance test suite to ensure successful transceiver performance against the standards requirements.
Design and development of Layer1 Control or DSP firmware design/development.
Follow the technical standards to drive the feature roadmap, and to keep updated the product teams
Document the design, implementation and test processes, and present the technical results to various internal and external customers in a timely fashion
Proficient on LTE Layer -1, 3GPP / IEEE Specifications
Strong Signal Processing fundamentals
Good understanding Matlab Simulations,
Strong understanding on Processors like TI / FSL Multi-Core DSP, FPGA, Communications
Strong Programming skills in C, Memory Optimizations, Multi-Core Programming, Assemble language debugging
Subject matter expertise in digital communications, spread-spectrum and multi-carrier waveforms, MIMO signal processing, interference mitigation and cancellation, Turbo and iterative signal refinements, multi-path robust reception, acquisition and tracking of spread spectrum signals, and random-access principles
Subject matter expertise in channel coding techniques such as Turbo/LDPC/Polar as applied to WCDMA/HSPA and/or LTE/LTE-Advanced/5G-NR
Good understanding of the compliance and conformance test frameworks for WCDMA/HSPA and/or LTE/LTE-Advanced
Hands-on experience in MATLAB and C/C++. Experience with MATLAB LTE Toolbox, MATLAB Parallel Computing Toolbox, and test equipment such as TM500, Sanjole, Keysight/N6070A is a plus.
Skills and Experience:
5+ years of experience in the design, simulation and implementation of advanced wireless standards such as WCDMA/HSPA or LTE/LTE-Advanced
Experience in 3GPP features such as Carrier Aggregation (CA), CoMP, NB-IoT, FD-MIMO and UE-specific beamforming.
Excellent communication skills, and ability to thrive in a global multi-site environment
BE/MS/PhD with a major in communication theory and systems and/or signal processing
