Job Purpose :
To identify and source appropriate technology from global sources, driving techno-commercial negotiations, feasibility analysis, implementing full cycle of technology transfer, developing R&D work plans, executing specific projects based on organisation strategies and business requirements.
Candidate Profile Should have experience into lab and its allied operations, syntesis and its applications, application development, r&d, process knowledge, Technology Sourcing.
Qualification:B.Tech & M.S in Chemical Engineering/Polymer, complimented with Management qualifications. Ph.D. Polymer

Age group 40 - 45 years
Minimum years of experience : Minimum 15 years
Key Responsibilities & Job Accountability
Requires strong exposure of technology-sourcing in the domain of Epoxies, Thermoset/ Performance Polymers, Resin Formulations, Specialty chemicals, for diverse industrial applications. To ensure smooth transfer of technology with robust documentation process.
Drives techno-commercial discussions for sourcing of technology & establishes appropriate business model for technology transfer. Good understanding of different technologies. Working with Project Leads to undertake specific transfer activity as appropriate to the project
Undertakes market scope, business & feasibility analysis in coordination with Business Head
Ability to identify, assess & source suitable technologies for commercialization
Works with diverse functions, viz, Technical, R&D, Marketing, Finance to enable - Transfer of technology, Process analysis and validation, R&D trials, Scale up/Scale-down and optimization
Ability to assimilate and understand scientific and technical issues.
Review and implementation of robust documentation process, including Standard operating procedures, Quality control & Quality assurance protocols, Safety standards, Technical reports, Batch files and Technical transfer documents in plant.
Must be willing and able to travel within India & Overseas.
Experience / Exposure Projects / Operations Skill Sets
Experience in Manufacturing Operations Strong strategic, project management, technical & commercial skills
Sound background of R&D, Pilot-plant operations, process scale-up/scale down.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with different communities with different norms and communication styles
Good understanding of EHS standards, HAZOP methodology and implementation
Good negotiation skills, High degree of motivation, Self starter
Understanding of regulatory frame work pertaining to IP protection, Technology licencing, Patents, Trade-marks and Copyrights
