Order Fulfillment Manager - Ecommerce
This position is with our client who is a known name in retail and hospitality industry, their group operates over 2000 outlets in more than 20 countries.
E-commerce warehouse operations of a leading Multi-Channel organization and are a credible 'operator' with a 'hands on' value driven approach in logistics and supply chain operations.
Customer / Vendor Management
Customer focused operations manager who delivers operational excellency through putting the customer first by utilizing and implementing world class operational Omni-Channel strategies such as Pay & Collect, Reserve & Collect, Fulfill from Store, In-Store Kiosks, CNC etc.
Have demonstrated and have proven experience around managing and maintaining vendor relationships, which include monitoring the KPI?s of our delivery partner’s such as delivery to customer within agreed timeframes - next business day delivery, 2-day delivery to outer zones etc.
A proven track record in ensuring the seamless fulfillment of consumer orders and timely delivery as per promised metrics
Capable of exploring other delivery partner options based on the current and growing business needs and recommend the most suitable choice based on due diligence.
Worked very closely with merchandising teams to ensure the operational execution of delivering the right product to the right customer at the right time is part of the operations team DNA
Build and maintain relationships with external vendors & consultants.
Adapt in analytics for inventory & network optimization by monitoring warehousing & logistics metrics, short and long term planning.
A proven track record in achieving challenging objectives and KPIs and involvement in growth / expansion plans such as delivering Reserve & Collect, Click & Collect etc. so they become part of day to day operations without hindering current existing operations.
Need to have a broad knowledge of how order fulfillment operations works at warehouse/fulfillment centers.
Should follow and implement lean management principles
Need to have broad knowledge of how order fulfillment operations works at warehouse/fulfillment centers.
Need to be fully knowledgeable in latest process and technology in ecommerce Reverse logistics.
Ensure the continuous improvement of operations
Maintaining and improving overall return operational and departmental efficiencies around reverse logistics efficiencies / effectiveness
Interface cross-functionally at all levels within the divisions of the company, For Example Customer Support, third party logistics providers and fulfillment Center etc
Ensuring returns are picked up on time from customers. Ensure third party logistics adhere the SLA.
Oversee day-to-day operations of managing Returns to warehouse/origin within SLA.
Bring in best practices to match the market standards.
Excellent financial awareness & commercial acumen and are adept at creating, managing and delivering core KPI’s that ensure the operations backbone is continuously healthy.
Demonstrate cost/service trade-off skills required within supply chain operations
