Overview: Area Manager – Service

 

Leadership Skills, Time Management, Math and Budgeting, Analytical Skills & Decision-Making Skills.

 

9+ experience is in construction equipment’s, mining, Construction equipment & materials handling equipment Service, After Sales Service, Product Support, Service Engineering,

Customer Relationship Management, Operations & Maintenance, Failure Analysis, Equipment Management, Dealership Management.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

·        Handling customer complaints related to warranty issues, which involve looking after warranty claims, determining root cause of failures, and replacing parts if necessary.

·        Responsible for Targeted Parts Business for the territory.

·        Providing customer support in relation to operations, installations, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of construction machineries.

 

·        Responsible for the subsequent training of all service, record keeping and warranty.

 

·        Responsible for the resolve and evaluation of all current methods used in the maintenance and upkeep of the machine.

 

·        Specifically responsible for maintaining Job studies, FSR & Warranty sheets.

 

·        Specifically responsible for the scheduling of product review appointments in such a manner as to avoid “drop-in” sales calls.

 

·        Responsible for the inventory, ordering and delivery of all necessary supplies and equipment for the service.

 

·        Assisting in the disciplinary or promotional recommendations required for all service, custodial and grounds personnel.

 

·        Responsible for insuring Safety & Health Act standards and company safety policies are complied with at all times. Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.

 

·        Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.

 

·        Responsible for the supply and upkeep of all personal tools required by KCEI policies and its affiliated companies for Service Technician.

 

·        Responsible for maintaining the required property uniform and insuring a professional appearance and attitude for all service personnel at all times.

 

·        Responsible for courteous, efficient response at all times.

·        Responsible for thorough knowledge of management company policies

 

·        Responsible for seeking educational opportunities and self-improvement for personal growth and development.


 

 

Qualifications

·        9+ years Product Support /Service experience in the Construction Equipment Industry /OEM.

 

·        General Requirements Highly customer focused approach.

 

·          Should have led a team and managed two or more territories.

·          Need excellent interpersonal skills & execution skills.

 

·          Should be highly responsive to urgencies.

 

·        Should have the tenacity to follow up till action points are closed.

 

·        Should have Functional Competencies / Skills critical for the job Work experience in construction equipment companies with managerial exposure to Spares Management operations.

 

·        Deep knowledge and practical exposure to various service and customer handling processes, such as field operations, spare parts management, dealer processes related to service.

·        Knowledge of Construction equipment products and services.

·        Solid Experience in trouble shooting and customer service.

·        Competency with MS Office, Word, Excel & PowerPoint

·        Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering - Mechanical/Automobile.

·        Ability to travel extensively.
