1. Open Communication
As the team is full of energy, it is important not to curb the energy but channelize it. A little bit of understanding, communication, and compromise go a long way. Communicate your work priority, set your expectations clearly to improve team productivity. To improve productivity, one needs to evaluate the right metrics and set ownership of the task. Taking the season & the reasons in account, it might be a good idea to take innovative routes to improve team’s performance.
2. Minimize official interruptions
Meeting in person is quite an important tool in management. Sadly, most of the scheduled meetings often take a lot of time and are not fruitful either. So, one needs to carefully plan these meetings. Since the year is nearing its end and your workers are finishing up the remaining tasks at hand, it can be quite tedious to keep up with everything. In a time where they’re juggling work, personal errands and rest, assisting them in realigning their tasks can greatly help.
Make sure everyone’s aware of your company’s holiday schedule, so they can set a manageable and efficient system to follow. Should they end up working from home or if anything comes up, they’ll know what to do or who to reach out.
6. Allow /Set flexible hours
While Sixty-two per cent of employees said they would appreciate not being required to work a week before the new year. While there are multiple factors to improve team productivity and allowing them to work time flexibility is a good option among it.
